Scouting has been a part of Grace’s Outreach Ministry for over 75 years and we are proud to have this long tradition of active Scouting Programs. We are fortunate to have leaders who give many hours of their time to the ministry of Scouting. Scouting is much more than the fun of camping, hiking and selling of popcorn. It is about developing strength, faith and character in the lives of our young people.
Emphasis is placed on:
- Growing as an individual
- Growing as part of a family
- Growing as a member of a team
- Service to our community and nation
- Service to God and the Church
Opportunities exist to learn, experience, and grow as a person. Learning to be a good citizen is an important aspect of all programs. Emphasis is placed on enjoying the outdoors while learning to be a good steward of our natural resources.
Contact one of our Scouting Units today to make new friends and join in the fun. Or better yet, visit one of their meetings. Be sure to introduce yourself to the leaders. They will want to welcome you! To find out more about Scouting, contact the representatives listed in the links below.
